How to add an ADO.NET Entity Data Model using an ODBC in an ASP.NET MVC 5 application?

Greetings,

I have created an ODBC of a SQL anywhere 16 database and i want to use that ODBC datasource in my ASP.NET MVC 5 application. I have created the connection with the ODBC data source through server explorer, and i can view/query the tables of my database.

I am using database first approach, since the database has already been created. When i add the ado.net entity data model in my application through ado.net entity data model wizard and try to establish a new connection, i don't get the option for an ODBC data source.

How can i add the ODBC data source in my ASP.NET MVC 5 application? Is there any other solution of this problem? I am waiting for your response.

Kind Regards,

Uzair.
