How do you fix your sound recorder?

I went to fixit4me, I ran scans, I went to troubleshooting, I went to my computer companies downloads center  and the company that the software is made, and I asked for remote assistance and I can't get answer. Can you guys post something and tell me what else I can do to make my sound recorder work?

Hi Alex,

1. What is the exact issue you are facing with the sound recorder?
2. Are you using and third party sound recorder?
3. Are you not able to use sound recorder?

Try following these steps and check:

a. Go to Start and click on control Panel.
b. Click in Sound, then a new window will open up.
c. In the new windows click on the tab “Recording" and right click in the window and click on Show Disabled devices.
d. Now check if Microphone is listed there and right click on it and choose enable.

Download and use Audacity instead. Its much better and does more things than SOund Recorder.

Thank You for you help, and that could have been the right answer. I did that also and I didn't get the sound recorder to work. If you could think of anything thing else, and you can share it, one of the steps to fix my sound recorder that I haven't listed in my post,I would like to hear from you.

I want to use  a new sound recorder for my Windows 7 but if I am not learned how to fix the software in the old sound recorder I will get confused with the new download, and I will mess up my files. I want a new sound recorder but not until I fix the old one.

I am having problems with my sound recorder and I did everything to fix it. I even downloaded system32 from another computer and I still can't get my sound recorder to work. Do I have to download the whole Windows file to get the sound recorder to work?

I did that and the microphone is enabled. The clipbroad shows as disable this devise. Therefore the microphone is enabled.

I want to use this software but until I fix my default devise I don't want to download a new one. I like one of your songs follow me. When are you guys coming to a bar because I would like to watch. Tell me where you guys are having a gig at. I like Aryan Rock and that Black Rose just aint what I like. Anyway, what I would call me band. You guys may be cool but I just have nightmares of... You understand right. I do Louis and the run-in is just to much. The word sometimes is a thought that I hated and the thought of Black Rose makes me feel hurt. I thought that I was more attractive then the Son of God. I anit got wool hair and brass skin. Peace Satan.

Remote assistance from someone you do not know well is a significant risk.  It's just about the same as booting up your PC in a public place, and saying to anyone who walks bye, "here... have a go, and please don't install malware or steal my private info and passwords..."
