How do you contact Microsoft directly?

How do you contact Microsoft DIRECTLY! I just bought a computer and I am being told nearly everywhere and when I try to do almost anything I do not have access or I don't have permission even under the administrator account.

There is some sort of lock on the OS and Microsoft needs to tell me how to unlock the OS so I can do what I want, be it right or wrong, it is my computer and I don't think they have any right to tell me I don't have permission or access!

Yes I have registered the OS and turned on the administrator user account but still a lot of no access or permission, who do they think they are telling me that? It is my computer not theirs! If I want to screw it up that is my choice not theirs!

So how do I contact them directly to fix this?

If you paid for Windows directly then support is available.  However, if
the copy of Windows came with the computer then contact whoever sold it
to you for support, Microsoft doesn't provide free support in this
situation.

To explore the options available to your specific situation, both free
and paid, go to http://support.microsoft.com/ph/14019

Alternatively if you post more about what you're trying to do and what
happens when you make an attempt, you'll probably find someone here that
is willing to assist.

Hi versitalbear,

It'll be much better to ask the person who sold you that computer. More chances that the computer was previously connected to a domain group that is why it may contain Group Policy Objects preventing you to access some programs.

Hi,

As they explained if the Computer came with Windows Installed on it then the System
Maker which as OEM is responsible for the proper operation of BOTH the hardware and
Windows. In those cases contact the System Maker.

If you have specific issues start a new thread in the Answers Windows Forums for your
version of Windows and we will try to help you resolve those issues. There are Microsoft
Engineers and other employees, as well as experienced MVPs, and others here to help.

I only finished downloading windows 10 today & EVERYTIME I've ask for help or info-I got little or no help. What I DID get were ads to buy something. This is frustrating & the reason I spend a lot of time playing FreeCell. I've found it helpful whenever I want to run amuck & throw my pc out the door. Looks like I'll be playing it ALOT more.

Right now all my computer is worth is to play free cell and Dell isn't much help either.  Microsoft does find a way to take the money if you want to buy something but does not find a way to down load it to your computer.

Interestingly, none of these links work any more and all direct you to the same webpage where you can only search for answers on a community forum. If the answers aren't there, there seems to be no where to turn...

Hi,

The question asked in this thread was how to contact support direct.

All but one of those 6 year old links still are active however it would not be surprising
that some have changed in that period of time.

Check these :

and some other Microsoft products. This is a question and reply/answer format
and offers no real time assistance.

I just had a windows 10 update. For some reason my printer won't print now.

I have called Tech support for several days. I keep getting someone in Asia, the English is very poor, I can't understand them, and they will not connect me with someone who is using English as a first language.

I'm not computer savvy, but not having use of my printer is costing me problems.
