How do I solve incompatible drivers from Intel with Windows Security and Memory Integrity?

I have Windows 11 Home. Windows Security is complaining that it can't turn on Memory Integrity in Core Isolation because of an incompatible driver, listed twice (screenshots attached below).

Message: "Memory integrity is off. Your device may be vulnerable."

The incompatible driver is listed, twice, as idgkmd64.sys by Intel Corporation.

The link that Microsoft provides to resolve problems with incompatible drivers doesn't help me, unfortunately.

What can I do to fix this, or should I just live with it?

Thank you

If this is a branded PC have you updated both Bios and ALL drivers from that PC makers support?

Before you delete the problematic drivers, download a copy of your drivers from your computer manufacturer first.

Then follow this instruction to delete the 2 items.

Hmm, that didn't even occur to me! Thanks, I'll look at the website (it's an Acer F5-571).

Thanks. I wasn't going to delete the drivers, because I don't know if the computer would even work without them. If it doesn't, I wouldn't know how to go about fixing that.

Hi Paddy,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

On your Intel Core i3-5005U processor you have Intel HD Graphics 5500 and it is the device driver on those graphics that is indicated as incompatible.

Really the only thing you can do is download the Intel Driver and Support Assistant from the link below to see if that can find and install an updated version of that driver that may not be incompatible

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support...

If an updated driver cannot be found, you will not be able to enable Memory Integrity
