how do I play the old games hearts etc in windows 8.1

I have just installed windows 8.1 on my PC but I cannot find my old games that I had on Windows 7 eg free cell hearts etc

The app might have been removed accidentally due to some other issues.

To better help you get your games back, please verify the following:

  • Are you getting any error messages or did your games just went missing after the update?
  • When you visit the Windows Store app and search for the app, does it give you an option to install?

Yes they just disappeared when I installed 8.1 the games symbol is available but no games I just liked playing hearts and free cell and solitaire occasionally when I get tired computing and typing. I'm not into the other types of games at all. Just that I like the ones I can play on my own now and again.

Thank you for the updates. The games on Windows 8.1 needs to be manually installed from the Microsoft Store. This is the possible reason why you're unable to find the games on your computer. You may check the article about Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Hearts on this link. Kindly download the application for Windows 8.1.
