How do I make FS2004 Run in Windows 11?

Every time I try to launch FS2004 it will not load on my Windows 11 computer.

Hi Keegan. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

Generally it's unrealistic to think 2004 software will run on Windows 11, it's 190 years old in computer years. You can try it in Compatibility Mode though: https://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/...

The question has some answers here which are inconclusive but may nonetheless help you decide. Some of the solutions for running it on Windows 10 may assist since it is so similar to Windows 11:

The YouTube video method did work but when I play fs 2004 when I go to pick an aircraft the game keeps flashing between the upper left and middle of my screen.

This is common with games that old which do not have the full ability to play on newer hardware.

You can try updating your display driver to see if that helps. The Display driver is so important that merely updating it might not be enough. Try everything here to make sure: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

You can also try older display drivers to experiment with those. I show how to do this in the tutorial above.
