How do I install fonts that are different but have the same name?

I am trying to install some fonts. Some of the fonts have the same name as previously installed fonts but are totally different. I keep getting the "this font is already installed" message. I've tried changing the name but that doesn't work. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi, This is Ramesh.

The only workaround is to edit the metadata of the .TTF file and change the official name of the font slightly so as not to conflict with the other fonts.

You can do so using a third-party tool like FontForge.
