How do I get Windows 11 to find my webcam?

My computer cannot seem to find or even recognize my Nexigo webcam. It does not show up on the device manager anywhere and nowhere in any settings menus. I repeat: it does not show up on device manager.

I have already tried multiple times restarting my computer and plugging into all the different USB ports (which all work with my mouse and keyboard). I have plugged in my webcam to my laptop which also has the most recent Windows 11 update and it worked fine on there.

I cannot find any guides for this anywhere. Every guide says that if the computer cannot find the webcam, then the problem is the webcam itself but it works fine on my laptop. I just do not want to waste money on a new webcam if it will not be recognized either.

I have a variant of this problem. Sound on my N660P webcam quit working some time ago but camera was OK. I contacted support via chat. They suggested unplugging the webcam and rebooting my PC. After reboot, I plugged it plugged it back in, and an EXTREMELY LOUD rumble was heard. It was so loud, I unplugged the webcam so as to not damage the speakers.

After reestablishing chat, support asked if I had uninstalled and reinstalled webcam drivers, then connection failed. Since then I've heard nothing from them. I checked Device Manager and did not find the webcam. I'm guessing it was because it wasn't plugged in and I can't plug it in because of the rumble issue.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
