I have the widget icon in the bottom right corner of my taskbar. How do I get the weather to appear in the taskbar? I am using Windows 11 Home

How do I get the weather to show in my taskbar?

Hi there! I hope you are well. My name is, Zadee. I'll try my best to help you today.
Press Windows + Q, search for the Weather app, right-click on it, and then click the Pin to taskbar. However, this is not going to actively show you the temperature as this is the app you are pinning to the taskbar. You can only get that temperature update on the Widget.

How do I get real-time weather on my taskbar?
All of my other computers had it.

If you do not see the widget, turn it on under Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Tur on Widgets.

I have already done this. Still only showing an icon that is a square half blue and half white.

You might not have the weather added in the Widget. Can you click the widget icon, please? If you do not see the weather widget in the list, click on the + (plus) sign and add the weather widget.

Finally figured it out. This is a new computer and Windows did not install correctly. I had to restore and set the computer up again and now it's working. Thank you
