How do I enable Web Select (Ctrl + Shift + X)?

I am currently running the build: Version 116.0.1938.36 (Official build) stable app, beta channel (64-bit)

I am aware that it merged with Web Capture and can be invoked using Ctrl + Shift + X but neither of the options work anymore.

I find the feature convenient especially in copying text of hyperlinks. Is the feature intentionally removed?

Web Select is not an option for me anymore. Even though using the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + X, it doesn't work.

Unfortunately, upon checking on shortcut keys for windows 11, I cannot find the shortcut ctrl + shift + x anymore.

The shortcut is an Edge Browser shortcut.

Apologies if I have misunderstood your inquiry. Have you tried to update microsoft edge? And may I ask what exactly happens when you tried the web select by doing crtl + shift + x?

When I pressed Ctrl + Shift + X the web select would appear but now not anymore.

I am up to date. Here is my version: Version 116.0.1938.36 (Official build) stable app, beta channel (64-bit)

Alright. Possible that there might be an issue with the current version of microsoft edge that you are currently using since this is a beta version. Unfortunately there is no rollback function for Microsoft edge so only option for us is to uninstall Microsoft edge then reinstall the stable version thru this link below.

Once you have reinstalled microsoft edge restart your computer.

After that you may follow this steps to prevent Microsoft edge from updating
1. Go to the folder location where Microsoft edge is installed for example :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft

2. Inside the microsoft folder you should see the following folders
- Edge
- EdgeCore
- EdgeUpdate
- EdgeWebView

3. Rename the folder "EdgeUpdate" to "NoEdgeUpdate"

After that relaunch Microsoft edge.

Please note that you would need to rename the folder "NoEdgeUpdate" back to it's orginal name if you are ready to update Microsoft edge.

this is so ignorant response, did you even read the question Jerry ? no one is asking for keyboard shortcuts there, we are asking for the Web Select feature, if you are not qualified to respond, don't respond !!! Asssign to someone who can
