Hi Anthony. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 9 year Windows MVP and Independent Advisor, here to help you.

Passwords are stored in the browser Settings, in Edge it's in the Advanced Settings.

Windows also has a Credentials Manager that stores all passwords on the PC. Type Credential in Start Search, open it, to view a password it will prompt for your Windows password or PIN to know it's you.

You can sign into Chrome or Firefox and the passwords as well as Bookmarks, History and Auto-completes will be saved to their server so it's available on any of your devices. This works perfectly (except in Edge).

You can back up the Credentials Manager here: https://www.kapilarya.com/how-to-backup-and-res...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

I tried Vijay Verma's method first (above Kapil's suggestion, on the webpage) and it took me to a box that had no relevant identifiable account displayed that I could delete a password: useless; I next tried Kapil's method and it took me to a box that DID display the account: deleted the password.
