  • When you say "programs installed“ are you referring to programs and features window? 

I would like to inform you that there is no option to make it appear on date order. I suggest you to provide your Feedback in Windows Feedback app where our developers will look in to it to provide better user experience.

If you're referring to Programs and Features: Set it to Details view and sort by "Installed On" column.

If the Installed On column doesn't appear, right-click the column header and add the option.
