How do I change the default City and State location that auto populates when going to various sites?

How do I change the default City and State location that auto populates when going to various sites?  For example, when I go the look for flights it auto populates, Midland MI when I’m located in Indianapolis, IN.  Midland is where our home office is.

These settings are taken from the IP address assigned to your computer or from where the server is located. To can change it temporarily, which you might have to change every time you login to the page.

I disagree with this answer.  I live in Pinellas Park, Florida and my weather app is for Washington, DC.  You can't begin to tell me that this is my local IP.  Try again and BTW, if this is the best a multimillion dollar company can come up with it's pretty sad.

It's not your "local IP," it's the location of your ISP's server.   See if this is any help:  Set a Geographic Location for your PC

That's for Windows 7.  How do I check to see my computer's location ie home address.  I'd like to make sure it's set for Woodbridge, Virginia and nowhere else.
