How do I change .srt file back to unknown?

I accidentally checked the .srt files to always open with notepad and now I can't change it back. In the picture is the .srt file that I wanted to use on a video but now I can't since it only opens with notepad. As you can see the "type of file" is still an SRT file but I NEED to change the "Opens with" to "unknown" instead on "notepad". And since I've deleted the original .srt file and tried re-downloading it multiple times, I CAN'T restore previous versions now. I'm using Windows 10 Pro if you needed to know. Please help me.Image

OK, here is a process that will work:

  1. Make sure you can see file extensions - In Windows file Explorer, on the View Tab, make sure file name extensions is checked, close Windows File Explorer
  2. Right click your Desktop and choose 'New' - Text File
  3. Rename the Text File xxx.bat
  4. Right click any srt file and choose 'Open With'  - Choose another app - More Apps - Look for another app on this PC
  5. Select 'Always use this app for .srt files', then navigate to the xxx.bat file and click OK
  6. Close the .srt file and then delete xxx.bat from your desktop and the Recycle Bin
  7. This will reset .srt files to unknown . . .
