Hello, Edward Kamal.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I have some ideas.

Please try to change your Microsoft account password on the web.

(Normally, the password for your local computer's Microsoft account will automatically sync with the cloud.)

Here are the instructions for recovering your Microsoft account password.

Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password - Microsoft Support

(Operate on the web)

If the change does not take effect locally after completion, please try to stay connected to the internet for a while.

For PIN, once you have recovered your Microsoft account password, you can directly reset or disable the PIN through the Microsoft account password on the settings page.

If there are any updates, please feel free to reply.

Best regards.

Hello, Edward Kamal.

Thanks for your reply.

From the picture you shared, it appears that the PIN on your computer has been removed.

Can you set a new PIN through settings?

If not, try clearing the TPM information.

Here are the instructions for clearing TPM information.

Troubleshoot the TPM - Windows Security | Microsoft Learn

Before clearing, please turn off device encryption.

(If you have device encryption enabled.)

Or you can create a new account to test.

Here are the documents for creating a new account.

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support

Create a new local account -> Set up a PIN for testing -> After the setup is complete, copy the information from the old account to the new account -> Use the new account only.

If there are any updates, please feel free to reply.

Best regards.

Hi again! Thank you for the reply! Umm.... at this point i don't think that i can change my pin because even when i cleared the TPM it still asked me for my old pin when i tried to set a new one. So are there any more possible solutions to this problem? If not it is perfectly fine, i can live without it! thank you for all the help!

Hello, Edward Kamal.

Thanks for your reply.

Have you tried creating a new account?

Create a new local account and then test in the new local account.

(Refer to this document to complete the operation.)

After testing, if the PIN can be set normally, copy the data from the old account to the new account and then use only the new account.

If the PIN does not affect your normal use, you do not need to take any action.

Here are some personal suggestions of mine.

I suggest you regularly back up important data. When you encounter some new problems that cannot be well resolved, you may choose to reinstall Windows.

Usually, reinstalling Windows can solve the new problems you encounter as well as the current PIN issue.

Disclaimer: If one day you need to reinstall Windows, please back up important data in advance.

Also, could you rate my service?

I will be waiting here for your next reply.
