How do I change my cell phone number on my Microsoft account?

Hi,

Keeping your information updated in your profile helps you manage your account easily. In able for you to update your phone number on your profile, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com.
2. Click Security.
3. Under Security basics, click on UPDATE INFO button under Update your security info.
4. Verify the last 4 digits of your phone number and it will send you the verification code at that number.
5. Enter the verification code correctly and you will be redirect to the Security settings page.
6. Beside of the phone number displayed on your computer, there is a Remove button. Click on it to remove your number.
7. Once the phone number is remove, click on Add security info add the new number and click Next.
8. Enter the code that was sent to your new number.
9. Once the code is entered correctly, it will display the new information.
