Answer

Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community, the best place for all your windows related queries.

You want to attach a photo to an outgoing mail. We will be happy to assist you.

Could you answer a question:

1.      Are you using AOL web mail or have you added AOL account to the mail app?

I would suggest you to follow these methods and check.

Method 1:

I would suggest you to follow these steps, if you are using webmail.

a.      Click "Compose" to open a new email.

b.      Click the "Paperclip" icon to open a window to attach files to your email.

c.       Browse to the file that contains the picture (or pictures) you want to send as an attachment. Click the file and then click the "Open" button. You should see your attachment under the Subject field of your email. If you do not see anything attached after a few minutes, repeat these steps.

d.      Repeat Steps b and c for each additional photo, file or document.

e.      Address your message, write a small introduction, if desired, and then click the "Send" button at the top of the screen.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to follow these steps if you are using the mail app.

a.      Click on the ‘+’ button on the top right corner of the mail app screen.

b.      Right click on the screen and select attachments.

c.       Click on the drop down button next to files.

d.      Select Computer and then the ‘H’ drive.

e.      Select the desired location and click on attach.

Hope it helps. For further queries feel free to come back.

Regards,
Tadasha Mishra
