How do I add a birthday in the Calendar app on Windows 10?

The subject should say it all. I figured out how it works on the website and I know how to view it in the app, but I don't know how to create one in the Calendar app. Whenever I want to create an event in the Calendar, it's just a regular event that is created. I don't currently see an option to turn it into a birthday. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

Hi

Welcome to the Microsoft community.

You cannot add birthday events directly. If you want to add birthdays to the calendar, you need to add contacts and set birthdays for contacts. After that, the birthday will be displayed on the calendar.

Open the calendar, click the contacts icon, add contacts in it, and then add birthdays. Birthdays will be automatically synchronized to the calendar later.

Looking forward to your good news.
