I bought NBA 2k23 in early July and have yet to be able to actually play it. It loads and within 5 or so minutes it crashes every single time. I have not played a session over 15 minutes without it crashing. I have:
Verified files
Reinstalled game
Restarted my PC
Updated Graphics Drivers (RTX 3070 Ti)
Updated Chipset (Ryzen 5 5600X)
Disabled every single possible overlay (Discord, Steam, Nvidia, Xbox)
Tried different windows user
Hard reset my PC
Replaced CPU (Ryzen 7 5800X3D)
Replaced RAM (2x16GB Corsair Dominator)
Updated BIOS
Reinstalled and Reactivated Windows 10 64-bit
Updated Chipset 2nd time (Ryzen 7 5800X3D)
I have absolutely no clue what else to do. I have already contacted 2k support and they referred me to Microsoft support. I've contacted Microsoft support twice and I have heard that the problem is not my PC but its the game. I must reiterate that if seemingly no one else has had this problem, or if 2k support disagreed, that is simply not possible. I’m no computer scientist or programmer so I do not know how to troubleshoot an issue to this depth. But I have 10.6 hours played on this game all of which have been sessions shorter than 20 minutes in which I have been trying to figure out how to play it. I paid $70, cannot get a refund, and have been trying to play it for months. I just want to play the game.
