Original Title : X86 and X64.
I have 2 options to download an application: X86 & X64. How can I know which one to choose?
You should choose the architecture based on what you currently installed, so if you have a 32 bit version of Windows installed, choose 32 bit Windows 8, if you have 64 bit installed, choose 64 bit Windows 8.

CJ-French,
By the way: x86 is another way some say "32-bit" and x64 is another way some say "64-bit". (Just to complete the answer you received so far.)
