how can I know if my system has a virus and how to delete it?

Hello, i am experiencing cpu and memory spikes. my disk isn t full and my laptop is totally ok but i randomly get theese spikes.

Im also aware that i download a lost of cracked games so it may be the issue. thank you for your time in advance.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Cracked games are notorious for the installer being wrapped in malware, and some of that is very dangerous malware, it is not a good idea to be installing cracked games on your PC and also not supported when things go wrong.

Open Defender, or your preferred 3rd party anti-virus, then select the option to perform an offline scan with that, your will restart to perform the scan.

Then, download the free version of Malwarebytes and run a full scan with that

That should indicate if your PC is infected with malware and hopefully clear it.

Hello Dave, thank you for your help. I downloaded some games and saw sketchy stuff so I decided to stop doing it. Hopefully I can solve it.
