How can I enable camera and microphone on Messenger Kids?

I am trying to use Messenger phone and camera but keep getting the messenger that I must give permission to use the app. However I am unable to connect the phone and camera after many and sundry attempts to give permission. Is there some other block that I am not finding?

How to enable the camera or microphone to be used in the app.

You will be able to enable the camera and microphone through the device settings.

1. Settings Menu.
1.1 open the Settings on your device.
1.2 scroll to the list of apps at the bottom of the left hand menu and tap the correct app icon.
1.3 you should now see the permissions for the camera or microphone - toggle the switch to Green.
1.4 Choose Messenger Kids then toggle the switch to Green.

2. Privacy Menu
2.1 open the Settings on your device.
2.2 select Privacy from the left hand menu.
2.3 then select Camera or Microphone
you should see a list of the apps on your device that have access.
2.4 Choose Messenger Kids then toggle the switch to Green.

It didnt work and it tells me to go to settings and it wont show it! So i tryed what you said and it didnt show micrphone or camera access! It was changed and i dont know why it was changed. Since i never changed it so it wouldnt have access to micrphone or camera. I dont know why it changed! So i’m wondering why it changed it!

I have a similar issue. Camera and microphone access are not options in the settings menu, why?

I am also having the same problem. There is no option for camera or microphone Kids Messenger app. I deleted it and reinstalled.. I've updated the ipad.. my one daughter has the options on her phone while my other one does not?

We did a soft reset ON the iPhone and that solved the problem

Sorry to bother, but im having a slight issue with filters. Whenever im talking to people they have like 20 filters, and i have none! I know its not a huge issue but i would like to be able to use filters. Please help me!

I’m having the same issue. There’s no option when I get into the Messenger Kids settings to turn on camera or microphone. Tried rebotting it and still nothing there. So frusterating!
