hidden fonts do not hide in windows 10

has anyone figured out how to get rid of all the foreign language fonts in Win 10? They are really only cluttering up my design process since I work only in the USA and will almost certainly never need them.
What happens when you try to delete them?

Your original question was about foreign language fonts; the one you use as an example isn't.  In general, system fonts should be left alone or you may find yourself with an unreadable screen or dialog box.  In the same window from which you took your screen shot, click on Font Settings, and in the next screen make sure that "Hide fonts based on system settings" is checked.   If you do a web search you might be able to find a way to delete system fonts, but again, it's not a good idea.

yes, well...thank you for your suggestion. However, I have been there and done that with no success.  I have also clicked the "restore default" and restarted, then checked the Hide language box again and restarted. No success. Basically, what I'm finding is the whole add, delete, and hide font screen seems to be malfunctioning.

At this point I've given it up as a point too frustrating to belabor and hopefully Microsoft will get it worked out in an upcoming upgrade.  I've looked online and in the forums...apparently I'm not the only one who is experiencing a problem with this.  So...maybe someday...

Thank you again.
