If you haven't yet reboot as often that clears the problem and the drive will open.

For tray drives :

Sometimes they get stuck. There is a little hole on the front of the CD drive that you can stick a 
paperclip in which will release the drive and allow it to open.

Create a Paperclip Drive Opener

For Slot Drives :

Check with System Maker on how to eject the disk.
