Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

I tried opening FH4 to play it but it stopped me saying this: 

Forza Horizon 4 is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001. Please help!!!!!

Please try these options one by one and check after each option.

1. If you are able to open MS Store, open MS Store > Click on your profile picture on top right and sign-out. Then sign-in again.

2. Windows Key+R > Type services.msc and press Enter > Locate Background Intelligence transfer and ensure it is set to Start and Automatic. Also do the same for Windows Update service as well

3. Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
Windows Key+X > Click Settings > Click Update & security > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down to the bottom > Click Windows Store Apps > Click Run the Troubleshooter

4. Reset Windows Store through Command Prompt
Type cmd in Windows Search box > Right click on Command Prompt > Run As Administrator > Type WSreset.exe and click Enter > Reboot your computer

5. Re-register All Store apps (You will get many Reds, ignore them)
Windows Key+X > Windows Powershell (Admin) > Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter > Restart your computer

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

6. Uninstall & Reinstall Store
Windows Key+X > Windows Powershell (Admin) > Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage

Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter > Reboot your computer

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

Ok i tried all of them and these are my results


1. Failed

2. Failed

3. Failed

4. Failed

After doing these 4 steps i uninstalled the game and now i cant install it back

FH4 is a very large game, hence we don't advise it to be uninstalled.

Anyway, what is the error now?

im ok with reinstalling it takes 2 hours which i am willing to wait, however now i even cant install the game.... Image

This is the only solution that really works.

Error code 0x803F8001 on apps and games. Ask for level 2 or tier 2 support.

Open Feedback Hub with in Window 10, explain to them what you have done attempting to resolve this issue. If you are like me, you may have uninstalled the Feedback Hub, and won't be able to reinstall because of the licensing error. If so, then you will need to go to a Microsoft Community online and post on the help section, and ask that >>>Tier 2 or Level 2 Support reset you Microsoft Cloud account. <<<< This has happen to me on 2 occasions, and so I have been to this dog and pony show enough to know things do not fix themselves and a little of how Microsoft's new Cloud works. If you cloud is corrupt, then less than a day when Tier 2 see your post, it will be reset. Sad, they never will take credit or acknowledge it..

This does get your account straightened out. Make your own post. Do not post it under someone else's post. This is a problem with their cloud services. After asking for tier 2 support they will reset your account on the server. Feedback hub is best.

I would recommend that you should contact Microsoft Windows Gaming Support to see if there is a solution. Use below option to reach out to Microsoft Support. Here you get Live agent support not virtual agent support.
