Hangs when I open a folder!

I have a folder in my pc which contains some pictures which i WANT... But when I open that folder, my computer loads the pictures extremely slow and my pc becomes unusably slow and says not responding....

I need a solution ASAP plz.....

Open Folder Options > Set "Open File Explorer" to "This PC". Try WinKey + E now. If it opens fine, then problem is with Quick access cache, which can be cleared by deleting *.automaticDestinations-ms from the following directory, using Command Prompt.

%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

Press Windows key + R
Type: %AppData%
Hit Enter

The navigate to that folder.

Could be an issue with your display driver.

Press Windows key + X
Click Device Manager
Expand Display adapters
Right click the current display adapter
Click Uninstall
Exit Device Manager
Restart

1. Try changing view in that folder to List.

2. Run a Scandisk on your drive - right-click on the Drive which you wish to check and select Properties. Next, click on Tools tab and under Error-checking, click on the Check button.
