halo combat evolved missing config.txt

its missing config.txt
so i cant play

Have you tried right-clicking on the shortcut to the program, or the .exe, and selecting the "Run As Administrator" option?  Do so even if your user is an Admin.




Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program? 

Try right-clicking on the actual Setup.exe and selecting the "Run As Administrator" option?  Do so even if your user is an Admin.

I've tried both of those but the same error message always appears
Halo-Fatal error        Cannot find config.txt

If you have this problem in 2017, go to system 32 and create a blank config.txt file. Problem solved.
