Google Chrome + Windows 10 Update.

So I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 two days ago. Everything worked like a charm. Last night my internet fluxed and I couldn't even load chrome, now my internet is stable I can't keep chrome open on 1 single tab for more than 10 mins without it crashing on me. Windows 10 update + Chrome A HUGE problem. It's never and I mean NEVER done this to me. When ever Chrome refuses to load, by this I mean even open to display. I uninstall it and re-install it and I have done that only twice in the past 2 years. But this constant ''Google Chrome is not Responding'' nonsense is getting on my nerves. I have cleared my cache, even wiped my temp files and all my browsing history. Since 9am this morning it's crashed about 5 times. I'm trying to get on with some research and some important work and it's starting to annoy me. I NEVER use Internet Explorer because it killed my PC the last time I used it.

I am currently on a MSI Apache Pro gaming system, with 12gb Ram and a i7 Processor. Freshly re-installed to Win 10.

Please Help me =/

Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

If you are not facing any issue with Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge and this issue is specific to Google Chrome. I suggest you to contact Google and check with them.

Thank You.

What more could we expect from Microsoft - at least they did not charge for the frustration this time around but still IMO deliberately anti-customer who repeatedly bite the hands of those that feed them.

Historically, this is not the first time Microsoft attacked a competing web browser.  First was Navigator.  You probably never heard of it if you are under 30.  It was the largest browser.  While IIRC, Netscape won the lawsuit, by then it was too late.

Chrome with all updates worked perfectly 2 days ago.  I do not update Windows constantly due to the side effects that occur with legacy CAD software and dual Xeon motherboards.  But I did the Dumb Thing and updated 48 hrs ago.

While I had Microsoft Edge disabled prior to the update, and Chrome running at near 100% stability, after the update, Edge is now my default browser/political/marketing system.   Chrome launches into a blank window.  The system sees Chrome as running, but something stops it from filing the window with content.  Reinstalling does not fix it.

And yes, it broke my CAD software as well.  So More Advertisements And Propaganda, No Competing Software, And the World's Silliest Browser Effort/Edge reminds me of how bad our colleges are today.

That was a hour of my life wasted (that's how long the update took, and I want it back Bill.  I talked with Bill back when Micro Soft made expansion cards for Apple II computers that allowed them to run Business Basic (Z80 card?), and talked with him at length when 3.11 came out, which was arguably the biggest jump in operating systems to date.

I had exactly the same problem when I updated windows.  I have not been able to fix the problem.  I've  uninstalled and downloaded google several times and can not fix the problem.

Same here since yesterday's W10 update. Chrome lasts a minute or so at most then crashes. I'm assuming they're on it and this will be resolved soon but it's a pain.

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling Chrome and it fails. Looks like the update caused an incompatibility issue so it's gone from momentarily available to completely unavailable. Has anyone else found this?

Yes, I just got the same problem.

After restarting my computer there was a long pause whilst an update occurred and ever since Google Chrome does nothing.

Uninstall and reinstall had no effect.
