Why in my settings shows the MCAFEE Default search engine no option to delete?

where did it come from and how do I delete it

There should not be any McAfee Search engine. Do you have McAfee installed? If so I would remove it as it's not recommended by any expert except to uninstall it:

Then change your Search engines in each of your browsers to your preferred one as shown here:
