Hi ASP Rao,
Method 1:You may follow the steps outlined in the article below which addresses this issue
You receive the "Your computer has run out of available memory" error message when you start Flight Simulator
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892610
You cannot move the game installation to another hard drive. However, you may uninstall the game and then reinstall it on the external hard drive.
Method 2: Backup saved game files
a) You can copy the game saved files from the program installation location(C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\”Flight simulator”), save (backup) them to another location.
b) Install the game to an external hard drive and then save or update the saved game information on the new game installation location.
Note: It is not recommended to install a program\game on an external drive as the installation may become unstable. Copying the saved game installation files may or may not work. Refer the article below which addresses this issue:
Flight Simulator X: “An error occurred while attempting to activate the product the problem may be due to an incomplete installation of the application”
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960481
Also, select maximum memory in msconfig save changes and check if it works fine.
Check the advanced boot options.
a) Go to Start, in the search bar type msconfig and press enter.
b) System Configuration window will open on the screen.
c) Click on tab named "boot".
d) Click on "Advanced Options" and uncheck the box for "Maximum Memory".
Hope this helps!
Thanks and Regards,

Thanks Imran. But this did not help though I tried all above all these days. Now windows 7 ultimate 64bit loaded in my desktop to test it. Presently there is no out of memory error is appearing. But when I do all FSX settings high the game scenery will get messed up and game hungs. If I adjust for low settings on graphics, aircraft, weather, traffic except scenery ( I wannted the best scenery always). This way the game works for an hour or so and suddenly stops saying " a fatal error occured fsx will restart now". what is this error. Also if I use multiple applications along with fsx for eg. Fraps or route finder internet site it is impossible to come back to fsx again, the screen goes bad with messed up scenery. I have captured one such scenery in video.
Is Microsoft suggested any time on right configuration for FSX to enjoy the game with high settings ON. if so what is the right hardware. I think am using hardware best availalabe in India. Thanks.
I forgot to tell you am using PMDG 747-400.

Hello BossDweebe,
I used sfc/scannow. Windows Resource Protection did not find any Integrity violations.
In D drive I have only FSX. Add on product is PMDG 747 licensed software.
My query is if I remove game FSX from D Drive and install directly on C drive without making any folder, will it create still a conflict? I mean is it mandatory to make a folder for FSX in C drive? Am not going to install any other game at present.

ASP Rao
