Finding my setup.exe

I'm trying to Install QuickBooks 2018 and can't seam to find this file. My instructions say go to file explorer then click on computer then click on the disk drive and finally double click setup.exe.

I'm not seeing this anywhere.

Help!!

Hi Denise,

You have two options in order to find and install QuickBooks 2018 which you have downloaded for your computer. Here's how:

  • If you download QuickBooks 2018 online:

  1. Go to File Explorer.
  2. Locate the file you've downloaded. Files you've downloaded are automatically saved in the Downloads folder. This folder is usually located on the drive where Windows is installed (for example, C:\users\your name\downloads).
  3. Once you have located the file, double-click it to install.

  • If you download it using a disk installer:

  1. Go to File Explorer.
  2. Find your disc drive and double-click it to install QuickBooks 2018.
