Failing Windows installation - Drive issues

What I've done so far:

  • Had a previously working windows 10 install but did a wipe from BIOS

  • Used Media Creation Tool to create a new Windows 10 usb drive

  • Plugged into Latitude 3190 and set to legacy and turned safety off etc. to manage to load from the USB

  • Get as far as "where do you want to install windows"

  • One option "Drive 0 Partition 1" which seems to be unallocated as has free space the same as total size "58.2 GB"

  • When the warning is clicked on: "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that this disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

  • When you click next: "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the setup log files."

  • Using diskpart I have checked it is indeed a GPT drive

Hello,

You need to delete every single partition in Disk 0 until they all merge into one unallocated space, then select that to continue.

Its got pretty bad specs the disk I believe is only 64gb total so I'm not missing like 2/3rds of it or anything. The only available option is that single 58gb or so drive, there are no partitions to delete etc.

Then that's a problem. For the latest version, I believe it requires at least 64GB to install successfully. If you don't see 64GB right now, it is because Dell could reserve some for its firmware and recovery tools.

I think I managed to like use the new partition tool once or twice trying and then despite it having like a 58gb partition it said that it requires I think it was just over 10000mb? Yet I did have that, and nowhere near 64gb required?

You are saying you could install with only 10GB space back then?

No it seemed to glitch and say that I needed 10000mb when I had much more so I doubt relevant.
