External monitor is too bright pale

I have a samsung S19A10N monitor conected with a VGA to HDMI converter in my laptop.

The laptop screen is more brighter than the monitor and the night light feature works perfectly on it.

Hours trying to know default brightness and contrast monitor default settings without luck.

Driver settings defaults and the problem continues.

VGA cable fail?

VGA to HDMI converter fail?

The external monitor doesnt work well with "Night Light" feature, disable it and color black will be black again,

no more pale bright.

regards

Hi RS. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

I would just do without the Night Light on external if that resolves the pale and too bright. A VGA to HDMI connection is not even close to ideal in the first place, trying to convert old technology to new.
