External Mic with Phone

Have Your Phone 1.20101.99.0, with Samsung G930 and a BLUE mic.

Phone is connected to Win10 PC with Bluetooth.  How can I use Bluemic with phone dialer on computer? 

Microphone Apps (in Setting) does not list the YourPhone App to allow microphone.

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

 

I understand that you want to use Blue Microphone with Your Phone app. I’ll certainly assist you with the details.

 

Ideally, if you make a call using the Your Phone app from your computer, it will automatically use the default microphone. If you have set the Blue Microphone as default Your Phone app will use it.

 

If you haven’t set the Microphone as default, you may want to refer the steps mentioned below:

 

  1. Press Windows key + R, to open Run dialog box.
  2. Type mmsys.cpl and click on OK.
  3. Now, click on Recordings tab.
  4. Right click on the device that you want to use, select Set as Default Device and Set as Default Communication Device.
  5. Now, click on OK and check if the issue persists.
