Extending my Screen to my laptop using Miracast

I can't project (extend) my screen to my laptop. It connects for half a second and automatically disconnects. Yesterday(1/21/2021), at night, suddenly they connected and worked properly, after trying a lot of times. But now, today, i had the same problem as yesterday. Does anyone has an idea why this is happening?
Hello assasinscredo98, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Luiz Cruz, an independent consultant and I would be happy to help you.

For this problem, I recommend that at the time of projection press the Windows keyboard + P and select the option "Extend"

Check if you can now play in full screen;

I hope I helped, even more!

Why are you trying to cast your Desktop to your Laptop? Does the Desktop not have a monitor?

I am on my Laptop now and I can open everything that's on my Desktop with it so I would have no need to connect (Miracast) the Desktop. I have the same browsers on my Laptop too, so no need to connect for them either.
