Explorer.exe error on startup

Everytime when I boot my laptop I get this error,

Its a blank dialogue box with 'Explorer.EXE' on it and only has a 'OK' button. I have also noticed that my windows do not perform anything until I hit the 'OK'. i mean it doesn't even load up my Steam nor can I get to my browser or any folder.

I tweeted this error to the twitter handles @WindowsSupport,

They gave me a link which asked me to open 'regedit.exe' and delete a file in it.

Here is the error I got from there. the upper registry editor in blue is a image on a website and the one below in white is mine.

I also tried that in 'run as admin' but no luck.

Anyone got any solutions for this??

Hi Rony Dasgupta,

Did you try deleting the value in "Safe Mode"?
