Event Viewer problems, crashing my pc constantly

I've ran into a ton of problems recently, seeing that in Event Viewer I'm getting multiple Warnings etc regarding mostly a line about "Bluestacks". I have tried -everything- to delete every trace of that program and the line goes like this:

The server service could not recreate the My Apps share because the C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\UserData\Library\My Apps directory no longer exists. Run the command "net share My Apps /delete" to delete the share or recreate the C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\UserData\Library\My Apps directory.

I cannot find this path no matter what I did. I have been seeing this error message randomly, whilst gaming, when I try to plug in my audio interface to record etc. I have had my pc checked and repaired multiple times these last two weeks but even they could not find a solution. I am willing to offer screenshots or anything similar about this problem, I am in dire need of help.

Hi, George Cgrk.

Welcome to Microsoft support community.

We noticed you are having problem with computer keep crashing.

May I know:

  • Have you installed this Bluestacks application before?

  • After the system crash, did you catch some blue screen error? If so, please provide the screenshot (feel free to use the camera).

  • What repair and check action have you done? This is for future record.

  • What do you mean "I have been seeing this error message randomly", the event log or another error message? You say facing a lot of problem, but it seems you have not revealed that information.

The Bluestacks is a mobile phone simulator application which is usually for people to play mobile phone game directly on pc; If that is the main cause of your problem that might be it is still not properly removed. But that does not seem likely as this application should not have the power to crash the system normally. But nevertheless we will consider that a possibility.

For your current situation, I suggest you:

Troubleshoot in Clean boot:

There might be some software component which is the cause of your system crash, clean boot might help you.

1) Sign in to the computer as an administrator. If you are unsure if your account has administrator rights, see Create a local user or administrator account in Windows to find out how to see if your account has administrator rights, and grant them to your account, if necessary.

2) Select Search , type msconfig , and then select System Configuration from the list of results.

Important: If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might prevent you from following these steps. Only use the System Configuration utility to change the advanced boot options on the computer with guidance from a Microsoft support engineer.  Using the System Configuration utility might make the computer unusable.

3) On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all. Select Apply.

4) On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.

5) On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each Enabled startup item, select the item and then select Disable. (Keep track of which items have been Disabled. You will need to know this later.)

6) Close Task Manager.

7)On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it will be in a clean boot environment. Follow troubleshooting steps to install, uninstall, or run your application. Your computer might temporarily lose some functionality while in a clean boot environment. Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting and resume functionality.

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.

------------------------------------------------------------

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get back on track.
