EVENT ID 7026 the following boot-start or system drivers failed to load -Usbcharger

I have the above error in the event log of a win 7 64 bit system

EVENT ID 7026 the following boot-start or system drivers failed to load -Usbcharger.

Just reinstalled win 7 - but this error is present straight away. in addition the driver disk (gigabyte MB) stalls when installing some of its ultilities.

I am trying to run this desktop wireless - with TP link dongle - but it keeps loosing connection - another USB stick has the same issues . I feel sure its a driver or MB issue - but I get the above error on a fresh install - even without putting in the USB Stick ?

Thoughts ?

What is your computer make and model? If not a branded computer what is your motherboard make and model?

Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your OneDrive. To get a report on all drivers select Edit, Select All followed by File, Save Selected Items.Text file format please. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

Please provide a copy of your System Information file. Type System Information in the Search Box above the start Button and press the ENTER key (alternative is Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information). Select File, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Do not place the cursor within the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new System Information file each time system information is accessed. You need to allow a minute or two for the file to be fully populated before exporting a copy. Please upload the file to your OneDrive, share with everyone and post a link here. Reports in normal mode preferred. Please say if the report has been obtained in safe mode. The request for a copy of this file is additional to answering the question about make and model. If the report is in a language other than English, please state the language.

For help with OneDrive see paragraph 9.3

http://www.gerryscomputertips.co.uk/MicrosoftCommunity1.htm

Type Device Manager in the Search box above the Start button and press ENTER. To see Hidden Devices (Non Plug and Play Drivers) you need to select View, Show Hidden Devices. It is necessary to do this every time you open Device Manager if you need to see them.

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? If yes what is the Device Error code?

A further complication can be Ghosted Devices –installed but not connected!

Just an update - reset the bios to the default - reinstalled windows - got the drives from the gigabyte website.

The event log is clear of the error - BUT - the problem of slow response time, disk thrashing, high cpu usage remains....

It all seems to come down to slow running. HDD passes diagnostics.....

any more ideas ? - I m stumped with this one !
