Error "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80080005)"

I am facing this error during try to check for the latest windows update

As shown above and as per recommendation found to do these code which all four possible way didn't work

And also tried to uninstall these latest update couldn't find the uninstall option

Then also tried have some bug like sound output

Please help me with this annoying issue this was after latest version installation which are

KB4549951

KB4552152

KB4541338

Windows 10 1909 18363.778

THankk you Pranav. If the steps below do not help, I suggest waiting for the D release patch(usually available on 4th week) and see if it resolves the issue. Your computer is UpToDate so nothing to worry about.

From Start , search for cmd
Select Command Prompt (with the option Run as Administrator) from the results
At the Command Prompt, type the following commands one at a time. After each, select Enter. Let the command complete before typing the next command.
net stop bits

net stop wuauserv

ren %systemroot%\softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.bak

ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak

net start bits

net start wuauserv

After all these commands are completed, close the Command Prompt window and restart your computer.

Tried it nothing fixed

also restarted

And also can you please tell me how to install that D patch (ie. going to release on 4th week) as windows updater not working as usual

Hi,

I would send the manual link to you of the package, as soon as it available on the Catalog.

If you want to try resolving this now,
Try doing a repair install. A repair Install keeps everything including Files and applications and reinstalls Windows.

The best and the easiest way is to use first method in the first article.

I' having the exact same issue. My pc is actually reaching much higher CPU usage values on relatively light tasks. Is this related?
