·         Are you able to install other applications?

 

I would suggest you to contact McAfee technical support and check:

http://service.mcafee.com/TechSupportHome.aspx?lc=1033&sg=TS

 

 

You can also try installing latest Microsoft Security Essential and check if it helps.
