Error installing a cumulative update

Hello...

i'm trying to install "2018-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4464330)" update, but it keeps failing with error code "Error 0x80070020", i'm currently running the Oct 2018 update (1809 OS build 17763.1) it already failed 4 times, please any help?

The common cause is Antivirus.

The first step would be to try resetting Windows updates using an automatic script. See:

Make sure you run the script as an administrator.

Be careful and backup your files first.

This update deleted all my coworker files on Documents folder, like what happend with people on Octobers update.

It was a bunch of Premiere projects files.

He is really not happy about it.

thank you... that worked and i installed the update, but running the script erased my update history, too bad because i like to keep track of installed updates

i actually installed the update a week, i didn't lose a single file, just this cumulative had issues installing and it's done now, the update is sweet so far with easy access to snipping tool (renamed to screen snip)
