Error 403

Hi,

since 1 month now I'm having the following problem in a Youtube channel, both using MS Edge and Chrome (Windows 10):

"03 ERRORThe request could not be satisfied.

Bad request. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner.
If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation.

Can you help me?

Thx in advance

Hi, Alberto.

I'm Jen, an Independent Advisor and a Windows 10 user just like you. I don't work for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.

I understand you're having trouble accessing a website from your browser. May I asked if you have already tried using incognito to check if it same error will occur? Also, try clearing cache and browsing history and see if it helps.
1. In the Edge browser, click on the 3 dots to open Settings.
2. Click on History then click more options (3 dots)
3. Select Clear browsing data then add a checkmark to Browsing history, Download history, Cookies, and other site data, and Cached images and files.
4. Click on Clear Now.

I hope this helps. Feel free to share how it went.

Kind regards,
JC

Hi Jen,

thx for your prompt reply...unfortunately your solution doesn't work...I'm still having the same problem:

when in YT and watch a video of the channel Drum Center of Portsmouth (DCP), I can watch the video but have no access to the links they post below. In fact I have the following messsage in a new window:

"403 ERRORThe request could not be satisfied.

I'm sorry that the issue still persists. No worries, since this is a user-to-user forum, let me pass this on to other experts who might be able to share additional solutions.

Kind regards,
JC

Hi, I'm Robinson, an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you.
"The request could not be satisfied. Request Blocked" is an error from the client. This error can occur due to AWS Web Application Firewall (AWS WAF) rules associated with the CloudFront distribution.

The server of the link is blocking your public IP, you can try turning off your router for 5 minutes to try to assign a new IP address.

Then you can run these network commands to manually reset the TCP/IP stack, release and renew the IP address, and flush and reset the DNS client resolver cache:

1-In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt. The Command Prompt button will appear. To the right of it, select Run as administrator > Yes.

2-At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order.

Type netsh winsock reset and select Enter.

Type netsh int ip reset and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /release and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /renew and select Enter.

Type ipconfig /flushdns and select Enter.
