Hi,
I am very much upset about 'Error 1402. Could not open the key: UNKNOWN\Components\0B7056D85BE27CB43A27....A6F\256835114E......529. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key. or contact your support personnel' this error.

This error I have found when I try to install MS Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime(x64). Also when I want to install MS Office 2007/2010 on my Windows 7 x64 professional OS.

Is there anyone able to help me to solve this issue?
I have tried already http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-performance/error-1402-could-not-open-key/1aff58b8-37f9-4d41-824e-9f4ca11b442f  and  http://www.okino.com/conv/changing_windows_registry_permissions.htm      but found same.

Also I have tried several ways to solve that issue but I was fail!

Please help about this issue. I am waiting to see what is the actual solution.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.

The problem was started when I was trying to install MS Office 2010 x86 version after uninstalling MS Office 2010 x64 version. Also I have deleted registry file of previous MS Office application from my registry.

Now I am not able to installing any office tools in my windows 7 professional x64 OS also Open office.

I have tried using method 1 but this is not supported by my system. Also with method 2, I have found same result.

I want to mention that I am using Microsoft security Essential for my system.

Please give me other suggestions to solve this issue.
