I loaded a trial version of a product and there was a bad uninstall.  Now I am unable to load a live version.  I have worked with the software vendor but they are out of ideas.

Is there a similar "Fix-it" solution for Windows 2008 Server?  I attempted to run "Fix-it" and received the message that this OS was not supported.

    Hi keithhungate,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers.

To understand the issue better we will need answer to a questions as - which product are you trying to install?

The below mentioned article is applicable to Windows Server 2008.

If you are trying to install a new program, I would suggest you to run a cleanup utility. It will remove the earlier installed program completely from the computer. After removing the program you can try to install the new program on your computer.

Please use the link below to download the windows clean up utility:

    Thanks,
Hope this helps. Let us know the results.
