Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.
Step 1: I suggest you to check if there is any yellow exclamation point on CD/DVD in Device Manager.
- Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Device Manager.
- Expand DVD/CD ROM drives, right click on the driver.
- Click on Properties and check the device status
Step 2: If the drive is being detected in Device Manager try the below to update the drivers:
- Right click on Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand DVD/CD ROM drives, right click on the drivers and click on Update driver software.
- Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
Step 3: If the device is not detected on your computer try to run Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.
- Press Windows key from the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select it.
- Click on view all option on the upper left corner of Troubleshooting window.
- Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
- Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

Hello Darshan,
No yellow exclamation point on CD/DVD in Device Manager. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 with USB 2.0 In divice an drivers I see DVD RW Drive (D) but not USB 2.0

Purchased the EasyCap from Ebay. This is what is said before I ordered "Support System: Windows 98/ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Win10
However, in the instructions I received it does not say Win 10 is supported.

Interesting, thank you. The product Ebay's agent sent me is not what I ordered. They tried to tell me what they sent me was Win 10 compatible. I copied the instructions which clearly says Sys Req OS Windows 2000, xp/vista/Win 7 only, does not have Win 10 listed.
I can get a full refund including shipping charges from Ebay but I suspect the agent will just ship me a Win 10 complaint unit at his expense to avoid a negative rating from me. I have wasted a lot of time on this.
