E:\ is not Accessible - Access Denied

Hi !

Dear All,

I got a problem.

I had made some changes in properties of "Local Disk E:\" by going into

properties>Security Tab>Allow / Deny Access Option

At this stage i choose all deny options and applied it. But after that, now I can't access it even i m admin & a message appeared ;-

E:\ is not accessible

Access Denied

I want to deny access for non admin-users to keep privacy of local drive (E:) .

your kindness in this regard will highly be appreciated.Thanks!!

Hi,

Try the same thing again and just DELETE the Authenticated Users...

That will leave only you and SYSTEM...

Hi,

Follow the steps provided below to delete the Authentic Users.

Right click on the E drive and select properties.

In the Window shown in the above screen shot click on Edit.

Once you click on Edit you will see this Window.

At this Windows you need to Select Authentic Users and then click on Remove.
