Dungeon siege 2 lost mouse on startup

Hello,

For us to isolate the issue in playing a game inside a Windows Insider build, kindly respond to the questions below:

1. Are you able to use the mouse outside the application?
2. Does the issue persist if you play another game?
3. Which updates were installed on your device prior to the issue?
4. What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Have about the same issue myself.

1: When I'm tabbed into the game no, when I tab out it works as normal.

2: No, currently it's only dungeon siege 2 for me.

3: Only the automatic updates when you turn the PC off.

4: Tried to reinstall the expantion with no success.

Allso unpluggin my xbox controller, no success.

Unplugged and replugged my mouse, the mouse now appears but seem to me magnetized to the corners, and if moved fast enought I could get it to another corner, and have the mouse flickering to the center of the screen.

Found a somewhat solution to it.

By forcing the game to go windowed it worked for me.

1, create a shortcut if you allready don't have any.

2, right click and go to properties, shortcut tab.

3, in target box, at the end write " fullscreen=false" and yes, the space is needed.

4, start dungeon siege 2 from that shortcut and it should work.

i have the same problem . but the fixes dosent work for **** . dungen sige 2 i my favorit game of all time . i want help now 

Well i had it working by lowering the resolution and putting the game in windowed mode from the shortcut settings (command line switches) but now after the most recent update, my install directory is not found. Afraid to reinstall, as in the past this has wiped out my saves and settings for game. . .

going to try and find the registry setting and possibly re-path it as my install directory is on D$ not C.: will let you know how i fare. . . thanks...

i also found on other forum that ppl fixed it with fullscreen=false width=1920 height=1080 but im getting the same error in that pic..
any other ideas?.. starting to think win 10 wont be able to run this game on my laptop
