Do I just ignore this or try and undo this? 2/10/2025

I just did an update when I restarted my computer and for the first time, my computer restarted was stuck on a black screen while restarting, so I had to force a restart. It didn't look like any issues happened then since it just continued updating, but it restarted on it's own 2 more times with the "Your computer may restart a few times" which I have also never seen but both of these things were already worrying me since I really never seen that before.

Any then once I opened up the computer, I'm introduced to the ene.sys warning, I restarted and hoped it was a fluke, but then I was reintroduced to the ene.sys warning, but also the gdrv2.sys warning.

Are there any bad affects happening being I am worried about ending up in a permanent black screen or blue screen since I lost a laptop a few years back and all my precious memories and files on that device and don't want it to happen again.

Hi, my name is Anis. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.

The gdrv. sys file is a driver file associated with Gigabyte motherboard and graphics cards and ene. sys is a driver associated to RGB lighting control on your PC.

The drivers should install along with Windows update. The computer may restart a couple of times during the process and that's perfectly fine.

However, if you are not facing any malfunction with your display and RGB lighting control (Keyboard), no action need to be taken.

However, I recommend you to kindly visit the Manufacturer's website and download these two drivers manually and install them.

If you let me know the Manufacturer and model number of your PC, I can find the drivers for you.

I am here for further assistance. Please let me know.

Sorry I am super late to replying, I thought I would get a notification on my email or my phone if I ever did get one.

How would I figure out the model number of my pc? If it matters, I built this pc myself some years ago and isn't a prebuilt.
