I have downloaded the boot from floppy disk for windows XP, computer locks up with DMIO.SYS is corrupt error message.  Tried these disks on sever computers with the same issue.  how do you get around this problem.  My computer refuses to boot from CD.  Can you format the hard and add the necessary boot files using another computer and then swap the drive back to this PC?

I have just had a thought with regard to your floppy diskette issue.

You imply that you have created these floppy diskettes several times. Was diskette #4 always diskette #4? If it was, put it to one side and create them again with a different diskette for #4.
