Disable Login after sleep

Hi,

I have reinstalled Win10 on my laptop and since I am unable to turn off the login screen when it comes out of sleep mode.

Note I don't have to en enter a password. I just need to move the mouse to login box and click on it to access my Desktop. I wish that my Laptop jumps right to the desktop when it wakes up. Note also that I don't get the login screen when I restart or start my Laptop.

I have ran the "Netplwiz" run command but this doesn't take care of the login prompt when the PC wakes up. I have looked at the registry but didn't find  the DWORD "DelayLockInterval" that apparently could fix this if edited. I looked for "Disable password when PC wakes up" option but didn't find it anywhere.

In my PC settings, when I click the sign-in option, it indicates: "you must have a password before you can use the other sign-in options". I am hesitant to go there because I fear that I won't be able to use my laptop without entering a password.

Can someone help me. I don't want a password on my PC. I don't even want to touch the "Enter" key. I want it to jump to the desktop when I start/restart it.

Thanks,

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Note that the option "Password protection on wake up" isn't available/visible on my PC witch is running under Win10  1st anniversary version.

Is there a "run Command" that would permit to access that option or can you suggest another fix?

Regards

Hi,

Note I have tried your suggestion and it didn’t work.

Be also advised that the “Personalization” title creation proposed in option 2 of the article posted on Cnet was not necessary since this title was already present in the registry.

I there another way to add “Password protection on wake up” option on my laptop to allow me to disable the password protection when my PC wakes up and make it open on my desktop?
